Public Capital Markets and Initial Public Offerings

Our lawyers represent both domestic and international issuers and underwriters in public offerings of equity and debt securities, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, shelf registrations, Rule 144A offerings and spin-off transactions. In the past two years, Thompson & Knight assisted our clients in closing more than $7 billion in public capital markets transactions and initial public offerings.

The Firm is recognized by the prestigious Chambers USA 2009 legal directory published by Chambers & Partners, which notes that Thompson & Knight "is extraordinarily active in M&A and capital markets transactions, financings, private equity work, public offerings and volumetric production payments."
